Here is the list of camps that Camp Shagabec is offering during the 2010 season:


Care Camp
May 15, 2010
Fee: $0.00!  - Camp will provide lunch!

May 15th is the day that we open up the camp and clean it up for the season. Anyone is welcome to come and join us for the day, ready for cleaning and fixing. Remember....it's sometimes cold up there in May. For more information, look for Kat in the "contacts" section of this website.


Leadership Training Camp
June 4 (drop off - 7pm) - June 6 (pick-up 2pm) , 2010 
Fee: no cost
Directors: Kat and Dave-o
This is a weekend camp where our volunteers for the summer come together to get acquainted and to learn about the job of being a camp counsellor. ALL summer volunteers are urged to attend, even if you've been to camp before. It's different every year, and if you have more experience then you have a chance to share your skills with others. Arrive at camp at 7:00 on Friday and plan to stay until 2:00 Sunday. For more information about the weekend, look for Kat and Dave in the "Contacts" section of this website.


SENIOR CO-ED:  July 4 - 9

For campers between 1992 – 1996.  Arrive 4 pm, July 4 (Sunday). 
Depart at 4 pm, July 9 (Friday).

JUNIOR SCAMPERS:  July 11 - 16

For campers born in 1999 – 2001.  Arrive 4 pm, July 11 (Sunday)
Depart 4 pm, July 16 (Friday). 
Camp Fee: $155

JUNIOR CO-ED:  July 18 - 23
For campers born in 1996 & 1998.  Arrive 4 pm, July 18 (Sunday). 
Depart at 4 pm, July 23 (Friday). 
Camp Fee: $155

SENIOR SCAMPERS:  July 25 - 30
For campers born in 1998 – 2000. Arrive 4 pm, July 25 (Sunday).
  Depart at 4 pm, July 30 (Friday). 
Camp Fee: $155

JUNIOR SQUIRTS:  Aug. 1-3

Our "Squirt" Camps are a great way to intoduce younger youth to the world of summer camp.  The camps are either 2 or 3 days long, and packed full of fun and activities.

 

For campers born in 2002 – 2004. Arrive 4 pm, Aug. 1 (Sunday).
  Depart at 4 pm, Aug. 3 (Tuesday).  
Camp Fee: $80

SENIOR SQUIRTS:  Aug. 4-7
For campers born in 2000 – 2002.  Arrive 4 pm, Aug. 4 (Wed.).
  Depart at 4 pm, Aug. 7 (Saturday).  
Camp Fee: $100

CREATIVE CAMP:  Aug. 8-11

This is a new camp for this summer!  The camp will focus on the arts, and provide instruction in dance, art, drama, music, or crafts (depending on the interest of the camper).  Campers are encouraged to bring any supplies or instruments that they might want to use for camp.

 

For campers born in 1998 – 2001.  Arrive 4 pm, Aug. 8 (Sunday).   
Depart 4 pm, Aug. 11 (Wed.).  
Camp Fee: $100

WANNABEAKIDAGAIN?:  Aug. 13-15

Every five years we offer this unbelievably fun and invigorating weekend camp.  This is a camp for adults to come and experience all the joys and fun of summer camp.  Campers could be alumni of Shagabec or people who have never come to a camp before.
